Te mapa
Chajarí lies in the northeast of Entre Ríos province in Argentina, a short distance from the Uruguay River and the border with Uruguay. The town follows the classic Argentine grid. Square blocks run evenly in every direction from the central plaza, and a few wider avenues cross the pattern. It is one of the most regular street layouts you can find on a map.
The countryside around it is just as ordered. This is one of Argentina's main citrus regions, and the orchards form a dense pattern of rectangular plots and straight rows around the town. To the east, the land slopes gently toward the Uruguay River and the large reservoir behind the Salto Grande dam, further downstream.
A Chajarí map poster is almost pure geometry. It shows an even grid of blocks, a central plaza and the fields cut into neat parcels around the edges. In black and white, that regularity becomes a strong graphic pattern. It also reflects the town's origins as an agricultural colony founded by immigrant settlers.

Orange and mandarin orchards surround the town in rectangular plots. They extend the ordered pattern of the streets into the countryside.
East of town, the land falls toward the Uruguay River, which marks the border with Uruguay and frames the region on the map.
