Te mapa
Chirpan lies in southern Bulgaria, in the Stara Zagora province, on the broad Upper Thracian Plain between the Sredna Gora hills and the Maritsa valley. From above, the town is compact and slightly irregular. Older streets bend toward the central square, and later blocks follow a more regular pattern farther out. Beyond the last houses, cultivated land spreads in long rectangular plots.
Chirpan is best known as the hometown of Peyo Yavorov, one of Bulgaria's most important poets. His family house is now a museum and a point of reference in the town centre. The land around the town has long been associated with farming and vineyards, and on a map the edges are made of field lines and rural roads rather than suburbs.
A Chirpan map poster shows a Thracian town at a human scale, with a clear centre, a ring of residential streets and the open plain beyond. The railway and the roads to Plovdiv and Stara Zagora pass nearby and anchor the town in the wider landscape. Together they make a balanced, calm composition.

The poet Peyo Yavorov was born in Chirpan, and his family home is kept as a museum. It gives the town a literary landmark that many Bulgarians recognise.
Around the town, the plain is divided into long fields and vineyards. Their straight boundaries frame the rounder shape of the settlement and give the edges of the print a quiet texture.

A map of Chirpan is for those who grew up here or come back to visit family, and for readers who know it as Yavorov's birthplace. It turns a modest town into a clear, carefully drawn piece for the wall.
