Te mapa
Chom Thong is a district on the western, Thonburi side of Bangkok, across the Chao Phraya from the city's historic centre. On a map it shows the layered character of this part of the capital: old canals, or khlongs, running through the district, a dense network of narrow lanes, and wide modern roads cutting across in straight lines.
Rama II Road begins in this part of Bangkok and runs southwest toward the provinces, carrying heavy traffic and forming one of the district's strongest features. Between the main roads, sois branch off in every direction, often ending at canals or at the edge of older housing. Temples and schools appear as larger plots within the fine-grained residential fabric.
A Chom Thong map poster shows a quieter, residential side of Bangkok: canals, lanes and neighbourhoods rather than skyscrapers. The mix of curving waterways and a straight highway gives the composition energy and depth. For those who live here, grew up here or simply know it as their corner of the city, it is a genuinely personal map.
Canals wind through the district, following older paths than the roads and giving the map soft, irregular lines among the dense housing.
The major highway runs southwest from this part of Thonburi, a wide straight line across the district heading toward the western provinces.
Narrow lanes branch off the main roads in dense, comb-like patterns, the characteristic texture of Bangkok's residential neighbourhoods seen from above.

Koteā ko Chom Thong
Bangkok is huge, and most people feel attached to one district rather than the whole city. A Chom Thong map poster focuses on that local connection, capturing the canals and lanes that make up daily life in this part of Thonburi.
Add a custom title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps in Thai or English, with a date or street name. Choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as digital HD files or a printed poster.
