Te mapa
Cileunyi sits on the eastern edge of the Bandung basin in West Java, at the point where the Padaleunyi toll road finishes its run from the west. On a map the interchange reads as a tight knot of ramps. From it the older roads spread out, one heading east toward Jatinangor and Sumedang, another curving south-east toward the Nagreg pass and Garut.
Between those arteries the district fills in with the fine, irregular texture typical of West Javanese kampung settlement: short lanes, cul-de-sacs and housing clusters wrapped around patches of rice field that have not yet been built over. To the north the ground rises toward the slopes of Mount Manglayang, and the street pattern thins out as the land steepens.
A Cileunyi map poster shows a place most people first know as a name on a toll gate sign, and reveals what lies behind it. In black and white, the contrast between the straight expressway, the winding provincial roads and the dense residential grain becomes the real subject, a portrait of a working edge of greater Bandung.
The Padaleunyi toll road ends here, and its interchange forms the most geometric shape on the sheet, a clean set of curves set against the looser village streets around it.
East of the interchange the main road leads to Jatinangor, the university district with several large campuses, so the corridor between the two is lined almost continuously with buildings.
North of the district the land climbs toward Mount Manglayang. Streets become fewer and follow the slope, leaving wider open areas that give the upper part of the poster room to breathe.

Koteā ko Cileunyi
People hang Cileunyi because they commuted through it, grew up in one of its neighbourhoods or studied just down the road in Jatinangor. It is the kind of place that rarely appears on souvenirs, which is exactly why a precise map of it feels personal.
You can change the title, add a subtitle such as a family name or a moving-in date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
