Te mapa
Subang is the main town of Subang Regency in West Java, north of Bandung across the volcanic highlands. The regency drops in stages. Its southern edge reaches the slopes of Tangkuban Perahu, a middle band is covered in plantations and hill farms, and the northern part flattens into irrigated lowland that runs out to the Java Sea coast.
The town lies in the middle of this descent. On a map, its centre forms a modest cluster of streets around the main roads, and the edges soon break up into villages, fields and plantation tracks. Roads from the highlands come down through the town on their way to the northern plain, so Subang reads as a crossroads between two quite different kinds of land.
A Subang map poster captures that in-between position. You see the street pattern of the town itself, and beyond it the rural network spreads out in fine lines. The regency is widely known in Indonesia for its pineapples and for the hot springs and tea estates on its cooler southern slopes.
The regency's southern boundary climbs toward Tangkuban Perahu, where tea estates and hot springs sit on cooler, higher ground above the town.
North of the town the land flattens into irrigated farmland that runs toward the coast, crossed by long straight roads and channels.
Roads coming down from the highlands meet in the town centre and then fan out across the lowlands, giving the map a clear focal point.

Koteā ko Subang
Subang is a place people come from and go back to, whether for family, a plantation job or trips up to the hot springs. A map of the town makes a quiet, personal reminder of that route between the mountains and the plain.
