Clearlake sits on the southeastern shore of Clear Lake in Lake County, California. Clear Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake lying entirely within the state. The water dominates the map. The shoreline runs in coves and points, and the city's streets stop at the lake's edge, many ending in small docks and waterfront lots.
