Cobham Map Poster & Print
Cobham is in Surrey, southwest of London, between the A3 and the M25. It developed around two historic centres, Church Cobham near the River Mole and Street Cobham along the old coaching road, and the map still shows that double origin rather than a single central square.
The River Mole winds through the area in loose meanders and gives the map its softest line. Around it, the streets are irregular and often lined by large gardens, while commons, woodland and parkland leave open space between the built-up areas. The A3 runs past in a firm, straight stroke.
Painshill, the eighteenth-century landscape garden with its lake and follies, is at Cobham's western edge, and Chelsea Football Club's training ground is nearby. A Cobham map poster captures that particular Surrey character of river, park and green space, with the arterial roads drawn close by.
