Te mapa
Dabola lies in central Guinea, in the Faranah Region, where the highlands of the Fouta Djallon begin to give way to the flatter lands of Upper Guinea. On the map, the town is a loose network of streets and compounds spread across open ground. Main roads converge on it from several directions, and settlements are scattered through the countryside around it.
Its position has long made it a transit point between the coast and the interior. The old Conakry–Niger railway ran through the town, and its route can still be traced on maps as a long line across the landscape. The Tinkisso River runs through the region as part of the wider Niger basin, and small streams fan out across the surrounding terrain.
A Dabola map poster captures a town shaped by movement rather than by a formal plan: roads that meet and part, and neighbourhoods that follow the ground, with wide open space around them. It is a meaningful piece for Guineans at home and abroad, and for anyone with a personal link to this part of West Africa.
Several routes meet at Dabola. On the poster, these main roads read as strong lines that draw the eye into town from the surrounding countryside.
The corridor of the historic Conakry–Niger railway crosses the area as a long, gently curving line, a reminder of the town's place on the route to the interior.
Dabola sits where plateau and hills meet lower savanna. The street pattern loosens toward the edges and follows the lie of the land rather than a grid.

Koteā ko Dabola
For people who left Dabola for Conakry or for cities abroad, a map of the town is a clear, dignified way to keep it close. It also suits anyone who has worked or travelled in central Guinea and remembers the place where its roads meet.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to include a name, a date or a few words of your own. Choose from five styles, including Noir and Paper, then download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster, framed if you like.
