Te mapa
Dharmābād is a town in Nanded district in southeastern Maharashtra, lying close to the state border with Telangana. The map shows a compact settlement on the Deccan plateau, with its streets gathered around a railway line and the main roads that lead to neighbouring towns on both sides of the border. Beyond the built area, farmland spreads across the gently rolling ground.
Its location has made the town a crossing point between Marathi and Telugu-speaking regions, and trade has long followed the railway and roads through it. The Godavari river flows through the surrounding taluka, and the Babhali barrage built on it here has been the subject of a well-known interstate dispute between Maharashtra and the neighbouring state.
A Dharmābād map poster presents a clear, legible town: a rail line drawing a firm stroke, roads extending outward and a centre of closely set streets. It is a quiet, practical layout that reads well at any size, and it makes a thoughtful piece for anyone connected to this border region.
The railway line crossing Dharmābād forms the strongest straight line on the map and remains central to the town's role as a local trading and travel point.
The town lies near the Maharashtra–Telangana border, and roads from its centre lead towards towns in both states, showing its position as a regional link.
The Godavari runs through the wider taluka, where the Babhali barrage was built, giving the surrounding landscape a major river that shapes farming in the area.
