Te mapa
Diaoubé lies in the Kolda region of southern Senegal, in the Casamance area near the borders with Guinea-Bissau and Guinea. On the map it appears as a modest settlement gathered around a junction of roads, with a loose pattern of streets and compounds that thins quickly into savanna and farmland.
What makes the place distinctive is its role rather than its size. A Diaoubé map poster shows how routes arrive from several directions and meet at the town, a simple image that reflects its importance as a meeting point for traders from Senegal and neighbouring countries.
Diaoubé is known for its large weekly market, or lumo, which draws merchants and buyers from across the Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali and beyond. On market days the town's population swells considerably, turning a small crossroads into a regional centre of exchange.
Roads meet at the heart of the town, and their convergence forms the central shape of the map, a clear expression of how Diaoubé connects the region.
The weekly market occupies the centre of town, where the street pattern is densest and most irregular, reflecting space shaped by trade.
Beyond the settlement, the land opens into wide stretches of farmland and scattered trees, leaving calm space around the town on the print.

Koteā ko Diaoubé
For traders who return week after week, and for families from the Kolda region living elsewhere, Diaoubé is a place with a strong sense of rhythm. A map keeps that crossroads in view.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, perhaps with a family name or a date, and the design comes in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
