Te mapa
Didam is in the Liemers region of Gelderland, in the east of the Netherlands, not far from the German border. It is the largest settlement in the municipality of Montferland. The land around it is flat and divided into orderly fields, with lines of trees and farm tracks among them. On a map the village is a compact shape with a clear centre and quiet streets around it.
The village has grown outward from its historic core in rings of newer neighbourhoods. The older streets around the church are more irregular, while later districts follow the curved roads and cul-de-sacs typical of Dutch planning. A railway line passes by the village with its own station, connecting it with the surrounding towns of the region.
A Didam map poster shows this tidy structure: a dense centre, residential districts spreading around it and a clear edge where the houses meet the countryside. In black and white, the pattern of fields and tree-lined roads around the village gives it a quiet, well-ordered frame.
The oldest streets gather around the church in the centre. Their slightly irregular pattern sets them apart from the planned districts around them.
Later residential areas surround the core with curved streets and small courts. They create a soft, looping texture across the map.
The flat countryside is divided into regular plots with rows of trees along roads. This gives the surroundings a fine, orderly pattern.

Koteā ko Didam
Didam is a place where people put down roots, and a map of the village makes a good gift for a new home, a wedding or someone who grew up in the Liemers and now lives elsewhere.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, including a street name or a date. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Printed posters on matte paper are available with an optional wooden frame.
