Te mapa
Dunwoody lies just north of Atlanta, in DeKalb County, Georgia. Most of its map is residential: curving streets, loops and cul-de-sacs laid out across gently rolling land. Its southern edge meets Interstate 285, known as the Perimeter, and the concentrated office and retail district that has grown up around it.
The area was settled much earlier, but Dunwoody only incorporated as a city in 2008, after decades as an unincorporated part of the county. Perimeter Center, with its mall, towers and MARTA stations, is one of the region's major business districts. The older village centre lies further north, at a historic crossroads.
A Dunwoody map poster shows two kinds of suburb side by side. At the Perimeter there are highways, ramps and large blocks, and to the north the neighbourhoods branch into quiet streets. The Chattahoochee River runs not far to the north and west, adding a soft curve to wider framings.
Interstate 285 and its interchanges trace the city's southern edge. They are the heaviest lines on the map, surrounded by the large blocks of the business district.
Office towers, a regional mall and rail stations cluster here. On the poster they show as a denser pattern of broad roads and large parcels.
North of the business district, streets wind through the neighbourhoods and end in cul-de-sacs. They create an intricate, organic pattern across most of the map.

Koteā ko Dunwoody
Dunwoody is where many Atlanta families put down roots, drawn by its neighbourhoods and schools. A map of it marks one specific home in a sprawling region, and makes a good gift for a housewarming or a move away.
