Te mapa
Gajraula is in Amroha district of western Uttar Pradesh, on the level Gangetic plain a short distance east of the Ganges. Its map is shaped above all by movement. The main highway between Delhi and Moradabad runs through the town, and a railway line follows a similar direction, so the built-up area stretches along these two corridors instead of spreading evenly in a circle.
The town is known as an industrial centre, and larger factory sites sit near the edges, where their broad plots and internal roads look very different from the fine grain of the residential lanes. That mix of big rectangular compounds and small, dense neighbourhoods gives a Gajraula map poster a distinct texture, part working town and part market settlement on a busy road.
Beyond the last houses the landscape opens into fields crossed by village roads and farm tracks. On the poster they fade toward the edges, which keeps the eye on the long central spine of highway and rail. The overall form is direct and linear, a place that grew up where people and goods were already travelling, and it reads that way very clearly in monochrome.
The Delhi to Moradabad highway passes straight through town, forming the strongest single line on the map, with shops and side streets branching off along its length.
The railway runs roughly alongside the road, a second long line with a station area where the surrounding streets gather more closely than elsewhere in town.
Large factory compounds near the outskirts appear as broad rectangular blocks with sparse internal roads, contrasting sharply with the dense lanes of the older residential areas.
