Te mapa
Granite Bay is a community in Placer County, northeast of Sacramento, on the western shore of Folsom Lake. There is no downtown grid. Instead, curving roads and long cul-de-sacs wind among oak woodland and large residential lots, so the map is made up of loose lines rather than dense blocks.
The eastern edge is defined by the lake. Folsom Lake is a reservoir with an irregular shoreline of coves and inlets, and much of its shore is protected within the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. The community takes its name from the granite boulders and outcrops found along the water and throughout the surrounding hills.
A Granite Bay map poster places this relaxed suburban pattern next to a large, open body of water. The lake's jagged shoreline becomes the most striking element of the image, and the gently curving roads fill the rest. The composition feels airy and fits a bright, modern room.
The reservoir's irregular coves and inlets form the eastern edge of the map, a jagged outline set against broad open water.
Winding lanes and long cul-de-sacs run through the oak woodland, leaving wide gaps between lines instead of a dense grid.
Protected land along the lake shore appears as quiet, unbuilt ground between the neighbourhoods and the water's edge.
