Te mapa
Hamīrpur has one of the clearest settings in Uttar Pradesh. The town sits between two rivers, the Yamuna and the Betwa, near the point where they meet. From above, the built-up area fills the land between the two channels. Wide sandbanks and floodplains frame it on both sides.
This location has shaped the town's history as the headquarters of a district on the northern edge of Bundelkhand. Bridges carry the roads across both rivers, and the streets of the old town sit close together on the higher ground. Beyond the rivers, flat farmland stretches out in a fine pattern of field boundaries and village roads.
A Hamīrpur map poster puts the confluence at the centre. In black and white, the two rivers become broad, pale bands that meet at a point, and the town is a dense texture held between them. Few small towns have such a clear shape, and it translates cleanly to paper.
The Yamuna and the Betwa meet close to the town. On the poster, their broad channels converge into one of the most legible shapes in the region.
Road bridges span the rivers and link Hamirpur to the country beyond. They read as thin, deliberate strokes across the water.
Sandbanks and low floodplains line both rivers. They leave generous open space around the dense town centre.

Koteā ko Hamīrpur
A confluence makes a strong image. For people from Hamirpur, it is also the most familiar view of home, recognisable at a glance even to someone who has never looked at the town on a map.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or a date, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy it as a $9 HD download or as a printed poster with an optional frame.
