Te mapa
Helsingborg faces the Øresund at its narrowest point, with the Danish town of Helsingør only a few kilometres across the water. The map shows a long, straight coastline lined by harbour basins and quays, with the city stretching north and south along the shore. Ferries between the two countries have crossed this short stretch for a very long time, and still do.
Behind the lower town rises a steep ridge that runs parallel to the coast. On its edge stands Kärnan, the medieval tower that remains the city's best-known landmark, a survivor of the castle that once guarded the strait. Stairs and terraces link the harbour level to the upper streets, and on a map the ridge shows as a clear change in how the roads are drawn.
A Helsingborg map poster brings together water, harbour and ridge in a single frame. The rectangular docks and piers contrast with the gentle curve of the coast, while residential districts fan out inland in a more irregular pattern. The result is a balanced, well-structured composition that reads clearly even at smaller sizes.

Rectangular basins, piers and quays line the central waterfront, forming sharp geometric shapes that stand out against the open sea.
A long ridge running behind the lower town separates the waterfront from the upper city, with Kärnan standing on its edge above the harbour.

Koteā ko Helsingborg
Helsingborg is a city many people pass through on the way between Sweden and Denmark, and many others call home. A map of its harbour and ridge suits a hallway, a study or a gift for someone who has moved away. The title can name a district or a family.
The straight edge of the Øresund looks striking in Blueprint and Noir. Classic black and white keeps it crisp, while Paper and Sand add a softer, more Scandinavian warmth. The subtitle and coordinates line can mark an address, a wedding date or a first apartment.
