Te mapa
Hoi An lies near the mouth of the Thu Bồn River on Vietnam's central coast. From above, the river and its branches dominate: channels split around low islands, and the old town sits on the north bank with a compact grid of narrow streets running parallel to the water. East of the centre, rice fields and waterways give way to the sandy coast.
For centuries, Hoi An was an international port where merchants from China, Japan and Europe traded. Its old town, with wooden shophouses, assembly halls and the Japanese Covered Bridge, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Cham Islands lie offshore, and the beaches at An Bàng and Cửa Đại open onto the South China Sea.
A Hoi An map poster brings together the fine lanes of the heritage quarter, the curves of the river and the long coastline. It suits the town well, because much of its character comes from the relationship between streets and water, which is exactly what a map shows best.
Narrow parallel streets run along the river on the north bank. The tight, orderly pattern of the heritage quarter is the heart of the poster.
The river divides into channels around low islands before reaching the sea. Its branching shape gives the map movement and depth.
East of town, the land meets a long, open shoreline. It forms a clean edge that balances the detailed streets of the old centre.

Koteā ko Hoi An
For many visitors, Hoi An is the highlight of a trip to Vietnam, with evenings by the river and bike rides to the beach. A map keeps the whole town, not just a single view.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the date of a trip or a honeymoon. Choose from five styles. Sand suits the coast, while Noir makes the river channels deep and striking.
