Te mapa
Jālaun gives its name to a district in the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh, although the district's administrative offices sit in the larger town of Orai. On the map, Jālaun appears as a dense, roughly rounded core of narrow lanes, where streets turn often and blocks are small, surrounded by a looser ring of newer housing that fades into open fields in every direction.
The surrounding land is part of the wide plain drained toward the Yamuna, which flows some distance to the north. Roads leave the town like spokes, heading toward neighbouring towns and villages, and between them the countryside is divided into agricultural plots. That contrast between a knotted centre and straight radiating routes is the main visual character of the place from above.
A Jālaun map poster is a quiet piece: the drawing is concentrated in the middle of the sheet, and the fields give it a wide margin. It suits someone who grew up among these lanes or whose family traces its roots to this part of Bundelkhand, and it sits comfortably beside larger maps of Kanpur, Jhansi or Lucknow.
The centre is a close-knit web of lanes with irregular blocks, the kind of pattern that grew over generations rather than from a plan, and it reads as the darkest part of the poster.
Main roads leave the town in several directions across the flat plain, forming clean lines that frame the core and lead the eye toward the edges of the sheet.
Beyond the built-up area, fields and scattered villages take over quickly, so the town sits as a clear, self-contained shape with generous open space around it.

Koteā ko Jālaun
People hang a map of Jālaun to hold on to a specific place: a grandparent's house, a school, a lane walked every day. Smaller towns rarely appear on posters, which is exactly why a precise drawing of one feels personal.
Add a title in your own words, a subtitle with a family name or date, and a coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download 300 DPI files or order a printed matte poster, with a wooden frame if you wish.
