Te mapa
Jaramānā lies just beyond the southeastern edge of Damascus, and on the map it reads as a continuation of the capital's built-up area. Irregular streets branch off a few main roads, and the blocks grow denser toward the centre. Around the edges, the pattern loosens into the field boundaries and orchards of the Ghouta, the agricultural belt that has long surrounded the city.
The town has grown quickly since the late twentieth century. It is known for its Druze and Christian communities, and during the 2000s it took in many refugees arriving from Iraq, which pushed its population and building density up sharply. The road toward Damascus International Airport passes nearby, one of the main arteries leaving the capital in that direction.
A Jaramānā map poster shows the point where city and countryside meet: the crowded core, the streets reaching outward, and the lighter texture of the land beyond. In black and white, the contrast between the two is especially clear, and the composition stays balanced without needing any added detail on the page.
The centre is a knot of close-set blocks and short streets, with no single grand axis, reflecting growth that came in stages rather than from one plan.
Toward the outskirts, the street network thins and field plots appear, marking the historic green belt that once ringed Damascus with orchards and irrigated gardens.
A major highway running southeast from Damascus toward the international airport passes near the town, drawing a strong, straight line across the map frame.

Koteā ko Jaramānā
Jaramānā is home to many families with roots elsewhere in Syria, in Iraq and beyond, and a map of it can mark where a household settled or where someone spent formative years. The poster keeps that memory precise and understated.
Add a title in any wording you like, a subtitle with a year, and the coordinates line, then pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital HD files cost $9; printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
