Te mapa
Juquiá lies in the Vale do Ribeira, in the south of São Paulo state, a region of low mountains, rivers and some of the largest remaining stretches of Atlantic Forest in Brazil. The town takes its name from the Juquiá River, which flows past it on its way to join the Ribeira de Iguape, and the river's bends shape the edges of the built-up area.
From above, the town is a fairly compact grid on the flatter land near the water, with streets giving way quickly to fields and forested slopes. The main highway between São Paulo and Curitiba passes close by, drawing a long line across the map, while smaller roads follow the valleys to farms and neighbouring settlements. Banana plantations cover much of the lower ground.
A Juquiá map poster is defined by the river. Its curves give the composition movement, the town sits within them in a tidy block of streets, and the hills around fill the frame with a sparse web of roads. It is an unusual subject for a wall, and a very personal one for anyone who knows the valley.
The river curves past the town in broad meanders, forming the strongest line on the map and defining where the streets can and cannot go.
The urban area sits on flatter ground near the river, a neat cluster of blocks that reads clearly against the open land around it.
Roads follow the valleys out of town, including the highway corridor toward Curitiba, adding long lines across the forested and farmed countryside.

Koteā ko Juquiá
The Ribeira valley is a place people remember for its river, its forest and its slower pace. A map of Juquiá keeps that setting close, whether you grew up in the town or know it from trips along the valley.
Choose a title and subtitle, perhaps your family's name or the year you left, and select one of the five styles. Blueprint gives the river a crisp, technical look. The HD files cover six sizes, including A3 and 24×36″.
