Te mapa
Kafr Sa‘d lies in Damietta Governorate, in the northeastern part of the Nile Delta. This is some of the flattest, most intensively farmed land in Egypt, and on a map it shows as a dense patchwork of fields separated by straight and gently curving irrigation canals. The town sits within this pattern as a thicker cluster of streets.
The Damietta branch, one of the two main channels through which the Nile reaches the Mediterranean, runs through the governorate toward the sea. Around Kafr Sa‘d, water is present everywhere, in drains, canals and field channels, and roads usually run along their banks, so transport and irrigation trace the same lines.
A Kafr Sa‘d map poster turns this agricultural geometry into a graphic print. The town's compact centre and the thin canals that radiate from it give the design fine detail throughout. It suits anyone with family in the Delta or anyone who appreciates landscapes shaped entirely by the management of water.
Irrigation canals and drains cross the surrounding farmland in long lines, forming the fine grid that defines this part of the Delta on any map.
The built-up centre appears as a dense knot of narrow streets, set against the more open field pattern that stretches in every direction.
Many roads follow canal banks, so the lines of travel and water run side by side and trace the same routes through the countryside.

Koteā ko Kafr Sa‘d
The Delta is where many Egyptian families have lived for generations, even after moving to Cairo or abroad. A map of Kafr Sa‘d keeps the town and its fields together in one clear image.
Add your own title and subtitle, keep or change the coordinates line, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the Delta's earthy palette.
