Te mapa
Kamalia lies in Toba Tek Singh District, in the irrigated heart of Punjab, not far from the Ravi River. The land is nearly flat, so on a map the town is a tight cluster of streets and houses surrounded by a regular grid of farm plots, cut by straight irrigation canals and the roads linking it to nearby towns.
The oldest part of town is a dense knot of narrow lanes, with newer neighbourhoods laid out in straighter lines around it. Main roads leave the centre in several directions, which gives the plan a loose star shape that fades into the fields. Canal lines run through the countryside and make a strong geometric frame.
Kamalia is best known across Pakistan for its handwoven cotton cloth, and khaddar from Kamalia is still a recognised name in textile markets. A Kamalia map poster turns that closely built town and its open farmland into a simple black-and-white study of density against open space.
The historic centre is a close web of narrow lanes and small blocks. It is the darkest, most intricate part of the map, and its edges are easy to see.
Straight canals and distributaries cross the surrounding plain, dividing it into long geometric fields typical of the Punjab's colonial-era irrigation system.
Roads to neighbouring towns leave the centre in several directions, tying the compact settlement into the wider district network.

Koteā ko Kamalia
A map of Kamalia is a quiet reminder of home for families who have moved to Lahore, the Gulf or further away. It shows the town and the land around it as one pattern.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or a year, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand for the finished print.
