Te mapa
Kaynaşlı is in Düzce province in north-west Turkey, near the point where the fertile Düzce plain meets the forested mountains to the east. On a map, the town is modest and compact, with a street pattern gathered around its centre. Its most noticeable feature is its position on one of the country's main east–west road corridors.
The old D100 road and the Anatolian motorway both pass nearby. The motorway heads east here towards the Bolu mountain section, which is known for its tunnels and viaducts. That gives Kaynaşlı's map long, sweeping transport lines across an otherwise rural landscape. The town was among the places hit hard by the 1999 Düzce earthquake, and much of it has been rebuilt since.
A Kaynaşlı map poster sets the compact town against the wide lines of the highways and the flat farmland to the west. Farther east, the contours of the hills start to shape the roads. It is a small place with a clear sense of direction, a stop between the plain and the mountains that many travellers have passed without knowing its name.
Major east–west routes run close to town. Their long, smooth curves are the strongest lines on the map and set the poster's direction.
To the west, the Düzce plain opens out into flat farmland crossed by field boundaries and minor roads, giving the frame a quiet, even texture.
East of town the terrain rises, and the roads begin to bend with the slopes on their way towards the Bolu mountain pass.
