Kibungo Map Poster & Print
Kibungo is a town in Ngoma District, in Rwanda's Eastern Province, set in the rolling hill country for which Rwanda is known. The region is lower and drier than the west of the country, yet still strongly undulating, with cultivated slopes and valleys in every direction.
From above, the town follows the landscape. Its main roads run along ridge lines, and smaller streets branch down the slopes into residential areas. Beyond the centre, the network thins quickly into tracks crossing farmland, with homesteads and small plots spread across the hills.
