Te mapa
Kodinar is a town in the Gir Somnath district of Gujarat, on the southern coast of the Saurashtra peninsula. The land around it is flat and agricultural, running toward the shore of the Arabian Sea a short distance away. From above, the town appears as a tight core of streets with roads spreading outward across fields and villages.
A Kodinar map poster shows the dense, irregular lanes of the older centre and the more open layout of newer neighbourhoods and roads at its edges. A river passes by the town on its way to the sea, and the surrounding coastal plain is dotted with villages linked by a network of rural roads.
The area is known for farming, including sugar cane and groundnuts, and for industry along this stretch of coast. Kodinar lies between the pilgrimage town of Somnath and the forests of Gir, home to the Asiatic lion. The map keeps things simple: an old market town, its roads, and the flat coastal land around it.
The centre is a compact tangle of narrow streets, the densest and most intricate part of the map, typical of a long-established market town.
A river runs past the town toward the Arabian Sea, a soft winding line that breaks up the regular farmland around it.
Flat fields and village roads stretch toward the shore, giving the poster a wide, open setting around the built-up area.
