Te mapa
Kot Samaba is a town in Rahim Yar Khan District, in the south of Pakistan's Punjab province. The land around it is flat and intensively farmed. It is irrigated by a network of canals that carries water from the Indus river system and turns this dry region into fields of cotton, wheat and sugarcane.
On a map, the town appears as a compact cluster of streets in open farmland. A main road passes through, and irrigation channels cut straight lines across the countryside in every direction. The field boundaries form a fine patchwork, and small villages are scattered among them.
A Kot Samaba map poster shows a landscape shaped by water engineering. The canals are the dominant lines, running straight and even across the flat ground. The town sits at a meeting of roads and channels. Printed on paper, the composition has an orderly, almost architectural look.
Straight irrigation canals run across the surrounding farmland. They are the most distinctive lines on the map and are what make farming possible here.
The streets of Kot Samaba form a dense, compact knot. They stand out clearly against the open fields around them.
Field boundaries divide the plain into a fine, regular mesh. That mesh gives the whole print a consistent texture.
