Te mapa
This Kouandé lies in Benin's Atlantique Department, in the low, gently undulating country north of the coastal lagoons and the Cotonou area. It should not be confused with the better-known town of the same name in the northern Atacora region. Here the land is flat and largely agricultural, and settlements are spread out along a web of local roads.
On a map, that means a light, open composition. A few main roads cross the area, smaller tracks branch off to houses and fields, and there are no major rivers or hills to interrupt the pattern. The result is a print built from fine lines and generous empty space.
A Kouandé map poster is best for people who know this specific place, a family home or a village they return to. With so few dominant features, the personal meaning carries the design, and the quiet layout sits comfortably in almost any room.
Southern Benin's inland plain is low and even, so the map has no strong relief. Roads and settlements form the whole structure.
A handful of main routes carry most of the traffic, with narrow tracks leading off to farms and compounds, which gives the print a fine, branching texture.
Fields and palm groves surround the settlement, and they appear on the map as wide open areas between the few built-up clusters.

Koteā ko Kouandé
Posters of small places mean the most to people with a direct connection: where parents grew up, where a family still lives, where someone plans to return. This one keeps that connection visible every day.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be edited, so you can clarify the region or add a family name. Choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
