Te mapa
Künzelsau is the administrative seat of the Hohenlohe district in northern Baden-Württemberg, and it lies deep in the valley of the Kocher river. From above, the town is long and narrow. The river curves along the valley floor, the old centre packs tightly beside it, and the streets thin out where the slopes become too steep to build on.
The town is best known as the home of the Würth Group, the fastener and assembly-products company that grew from a small local business into a global firm. Its presence explains why newer districts and business areas have spread up onto the high ground above the valley, well beyond the historic core.
A Künzelsau map poster shows both levels. Below is the dense old town with its irregular lanes, and above are the looser, more regular streets of the plateau settlements. Linking them is a short funicular railway, a rare thing for a town this size, which climbs the slope and appears on the map as a straight line cutting across the contours.
The river winds along the valley floor, and nearly everything in the old town is laid out in parallel to it, giving the map a strong horizontal flow.
The historic centre is a tight cluster of short, bending streets around the castle and market area, the densest texture on the whole poster.
Newer neighbourhoods sit on the plateau above the valley, connected to the centre by winding roads and the funicular, so the map reads in distinct layers.

Koteā ko Künzelsau
For people who work in Künzelsau, studied there or grew up in the Hohenlohe countryside, the valley shape is instantly familiar. It makes a clean, recognisable print for a hallway, a home office or a meeting room.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are editable, so you can add a date or a short line of your own, and there are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The HD files cost $9 and printed posters are available too.
