Te mapa
Labis sits in the Segamat district of northern Johor, where the old north–south trunk road and the west coast railway run side by side through the interior. From above, the town is a compact knot of streets gathered around that corridor. Shophouse rows line the main road, and residential lanes spread out in short, uneven loops before they give way to open country.
Beyond the built edge the map changes texture. Oil palm and rubber estates cover much of the surrounding land, and their access roads draw long, looping lines between low rises and small streams. The dense centre against these sparse, curving tracks gives a Labis map poster its character: a clear heart, with fine linework thinning out toward the edges of the sheet.
Like many towns on this stretch of peninsular Malaysia, Labis grew up with the railway and with the farming economy around it. It is still a local centre for nearby villages and estates, a stop between Johor Bahru and the north that people often come back to. In monochrome its modest scale turns into a clean, legible composition with nothing extra on it.
The west coast line cuts a straight stroke through town. It shaped where the first streets were laid, and it still anchors the layout of the centre on the printed map.
The trunk road carries the town's commercial rows. On the poster it forms the spine that most side streets branch off in short, practical steps.
Around the town, plantation roads curve across gently rolling ground in long arcs, which gives the outer parts of the poster a soft, almost topographic pattern.

Koteā ko Labis
For anyone who grew up in Labis or still has family there, this map brings back a specific place: the station, the main road, the lane home. It suits a hallway or a study, and it makes a considered gift for someone who moved to the city but still thinks of the town.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to add a family name or a date that matters, then pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital download covers six print sizes, and printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
