Te mapa
Lake Country is a district municipality in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, between Kelowna and Vernon. It is less a single town than a group of communities, including Winfield, Oyama, Okanagan Centre and Carr's Landing, and its map is shaped by water: Okanagan, Wood, Kalamalka and Ellison lakes all touch or lie within its boundaries.
The most striking detail is at Oyama, where a narrow isthmus separates Wood Lake from Kalamalka Lake, carrying a road between them. Highway 97 runs along the valley, while smaller roads climb the benches through orchards and vineyards that have long defined this part of the Okanagan.
A Lake Country map poster captures a landscape where the lakes do most of the drawing. Long bodies of water fill the frame, the settlements fit into the land between them, and the roads trace the slopes in fine lines. It is a portrait of a region as much as a municipality.

The western part of Lake Country faces Okanagan Lake, where Okanagan Centre and Carr's Landing sit along a quiet, winding shoreline.
Farm roads step up the hillsides above the lakes in terraces, forming a looser pattern around the denser streets of Winfield.

Koteā ko Lake Country
Lake Country is home for people who chose lakes, orchards and space, and a memorable destination for summer visitors. A map shows why: water on almost every side and roads that follow the land.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with the name of your community or the year you moved. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black and white to Blueprint, as digital files or a printed poster.
