Te mapa
Las Guacamayas lies on the Pacific coast of Michoacán, close to the port city of Lázaro Cárdenas and the mouth of the Balsas River. From above, it looks like a planned town. Residential blocks are laid out in orderly rows, with wide roads connecting them to the port, the industrial zone and the coast.
The surroundings are mainly low delta land. The Balsas splits into channels and lagoons as it approaches the sea, and those waters, along with the long coastline, form the natural edges of the map. Roads and rail that serve the port run across this terrain in long, straight lines.
A Las Guacamayas map poster shows a town that grew with a port and an industrial economy. It combines regular housing blocks, strong transport routes and the irregular shapes of the river mouth. In a single black and white frame, planned and natural geography sit side by side.
Residential streets are laid out in regular rows and neat blocks, giving the town an orderly texture that stands out from the land around it.
Nearby, the Balsas River divides into channels and lagoons before reaching the Pacific, producing the most organic, irregular shapes on the map.
Wide roads and rail lines connect the town to the port of Lázaro Cárdenas, running in long straight lines across the flat coastal plain.
