Leteri, also written Lateri, is a town in Vidisha district in the north of Madhya Pradesh. It lies on the broad Malwa plateau, where flat and gently rolling land is given over largely to agriculture. The town's streets form a compact, irregular cluster, with a main market road and lanes leading off to residential areas.
The surrounding countryside is shaped by farming, with wheat and pulses on large fields that change colour with the seasons.
