Te mapa
Linda is an unincorporated community in Yuba County, California, just across the Yuba River from Marysville. The area lies on the flat floor of the Sacramento Valley, and the rivers are its most important features. Levees follow the Yuba along the northern edge, and the river's broad channel and gravel bars stand out clearly on a map.
Most of Linda is a mix of residential streets, commercial strips along main roads and patches of open land. Newer subdivisions have curving streets and cul-de-sacs, while older sections follow a straighter grid. To the south, Linda meets Olivehurst, and farmland opens up beyond the edges of development.
A Linda map poster shows a typical California valley town shaped by water management. The river and levees give the composition a strong line along the top, and the street patterns below show how the community has grown in stages. In black and white, the contrast between the grid and the curving subdivisions is especially clear.
The wide river channel and its levees mark the northern edge of Linda and separate it from Marysville, a dominant shape on the map.
Straight older blocks sit beside newer loops and cul-de-sacs, showing the different phases of the community's growth.
Beyond the built-up area, flat fields stretch away in large rectangles, typical of agricultural land in the Sacramento Valley.
