Te mapa
Longshi is a town in the Chongqing municipality, in the hilly country that fills much of the eastern Sichuan Basin. This is a landscape of low, rounded hills, narrow valleys and terraced fields, and the town's form responds to it directly. Instead of a strict grid, streets follow the easiest ground, curving along valley floors and around the bases of slopes.
Like many towns across rural Chongqing, Longshi combines an older market core with newer blocks of housing and commercial buildings added in recent decades. Around it, the countryside is intensively farmed, with small fields fitted carefully into the contours and village clusters scattered between them, linked by winding country roads.
A Longshi map poster reflects that interplay between settlement and terrain. The denser streets of the town form a compact centre, roads branch outward in irregular curves, and the surrounding hills and fields leave the edges light and open. The result is a gentle, flowing composition that feels distinctly of this part of China.
Streets in Longshi follow the valleys and slopes rather than a fixed grid, so the town's linework curves and bends in a way that directly reflects the underlying hills.
A compact central area of older and newer buildings forms the densest part of the map, where roads converge before spreading out into the surrounding countryside.
Farmland and village clusters fill the hills around the town. On the poster they create a soft, open border of winding lanes and scattered settlements.

Koteā ko Longshi
Longshi is a place many people leave for larger cities and still call home. A map of the town keeps that connection visible and makes a thoughtful gift for parents, grandparents or anyone with roots in the Chongqing countryside.
Add a title in any language you prefer, a subtitle with a name or date, and the coordinates line, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper lends the hill streets a quiet, hand-drawn feel.
