Te mapa
Menton sits at the far eastern end of the French Riviera, the last town before the Italian border. From above, the coast forms two shallow bays, Garavan to the east and the Baie du Soleil to the west, divided by the steep knot of the old town. Behind them, the streets thin out quickly as valleys and ridges climb toward the mountains that shelter the town and give it its famously mild winters.
The old quarter is the densest part of the map: narrow lanes and stairways wind up the hill toward the Basilica of Saint-Michel-Archange, their pattern tight and irregular against the straighter seafront promenade. Along the water, the road traces the curve of each beach, while the harbour and its jetties add sharp geometric lines to an otherwise soft coastline.
Menton is known for its lemons, celebrated every February at the Fête du Citron, and for its long association with Jean Cocteau, whose museum stands by the sea. A Menton map poster keeps the essentials of that setting: a thin strip of town caught between water and slope, with every street bending to fit the terrain.
Garavan and the Baie du Soleil curve on either side of the old town, giving the coastline a double arc that reads clearly even at small print sizes.
The historic centre climbs in tight, winding lanes and stairways toward the basilica, a dense cluster of lines that contrasts with the open seafront below.
To the east the map runs almost straight into Italy, the town's streets giving way to steep coastal terrain at the point where France ends.

Koteā ko Menton
People hang Menton for its light and its winters by the sea, for a holiday among the lemon trees, or for family roots on the Riviera. The shape itself is striking: a curved coast, a steep old town and mountains held just out of frame.
