Te mapa
Millcreek fills a wide section of the Salt Lake Valley south-east of Salt Lake City, and it follows the valley's numbered grid. Long straight roads run north to south and east to west at regular intervals, while the blocks between them hold winding residential streets and cul-de-sacs. To the east the grid runs up against the steep front of the Wasatch Range.
The city takes its name from Mill Creek, which flows out of Millcreek Canyon and across the valley toward the Jordan River. Although settled in the nineteenth century, Millcreek only incorporated as a city in 2016, one of the younger municipalities in the county.
A Millcreek map poster shows the meeting of flat grid and mountain edge. The regular lattice of arterials dominates the sheet, the creek adds a single diagonal thread, and the eastern margin breaks into canyon roads and slopes. It is a clean, modern image of a place many know simply as home.
Major roads follow the Salt Lake Valley's numbered grid, forming large even squares that give the map its strong underlying order.
The creek flows west from the canyon mouth across the city, its curving line cutting against the straight streets around it.
On the east side the street pattern thins and bends as it meets the mountain front, where the canyon road leads into the range.

Koteā ko Millcreek
Millcreek suits those who love both the city and the mountains close behind it. A print of its streets can mark a first house, a neighbourhood where children grew up, or a move to Utah.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates to reflect your own story, perhaps a street name or a move-in date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
