Te mapa
Modugno sits a few kilometres west of Bari on the level limestone plain that stretches inland from the Adriatic. From above, a compact historic centre of narrow, irregular lanes is surrounded by a wider grid of later apartment blocks. Beyond those lie the neat outlines of fields and olive groves. Large industrial sites and major roads frame the town's edges.
Modugno is now part of the greater Bari area, and much of its growth came from being close to the city's airport and industrial zone. The older streets still follow the curved, tightly packed pattern of Apulian farming towns, where houses stood close together and the countryside began right outside. On a map, both eras are still easy to see.
A Modugno map poster shows a small town taking on a metropolitan edge. Motorway junctions and rectangular industrial plots sit beside the rounded old core. The farm grid of the plain fills the remaining space with fine parallel lines. The result is quiet and balanced, and it suits people who know the town from daily life rather than from postcards.
The historic core is a small, dense oval of winding lanes. It stands out clearly from the straight streets laid out around it in the twentieth century.
The surrounding fields and groves are divided into long, narrow plots. They print as a delicate pattern of parallel lines across the flat Apulian land.
Roads, rail lines and industrial areas on the outskirts tie Modugno to the regional capital. On the map they appear as broad bands pulling the town toward Bari.

Koteā ko Modugno
Modugno is a place people live in rather than visit, so its map tends to belong to those with real ties to it: a family home in the old centre, a first flat, a daily commute. Framed, it makes an understated piece that means most to the person hanging it.
You can write your own title and subtitle, keep or change the coordinates line, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The $9 digital files cover six print sizes, and printed posters ship from partners in more than thirty countries.
