Te mapa
Mukandpur is a residential area in North Delhi, one of many former villages that the growing capital absorbed over the past few decades. From above, it is very dense. Short, narrow lanes fill nearly every space between a few main roads, and plots are small, so the map looks almost textured.
Like many of Delhi's urbanised villages, Mukandpur grew mostly through gradual, informal building, not through a master plan. That history shows clearly in the map: street widths vary, alignments shift slightly from block to block, and the only straight, wide lines are the arterial roads that link it to the rest of the city.
A Mukandpur map poster is a study in density. At a close zoom, the lanes form an intricate web that reads almost like a fingerprint. Zoomed out, the neighbourhood sits within the larger street systems of North Delhi, with the open land of the Yamuna floodplain not far to the east.
A fine mesh of narrow lanes covers the whole area. It creates one of the most detailed and textured patterns a street map can show.
A few wider roads frame the neighbourhood and connect it to the rest of the city. Their heavier lines give the dense interior a clear border.
To the east, the built-up area gives way to the open ground along the river. On a wider view, this adds a calm, empty band to the composition.

Koteā ko Mukandpur
For families who have built their lives in Mukandpur, the lanes on this map are deeply familiar: the way to school, to the market, to relatives next door. A poster makes that everyday geography worth displaying.
You can add a house name, a date or coordinates to the title lines, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download includes six print sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF files.
