Te mapa
Nālūt stands on the western Nafusa Mountains, near the borders with Tunisia and Algeria. The town is built on the edge of a plateau, and from above the most striking thing is the escarpment itself: the land breaks sharply, with ravines cutting down toward the lower ground to the north.
The old town is known for its ksar, a fortified granary where families once stored grain and oil in stacked rooms built into a compact stone structure. Around the old core, the modern town spreads across the plateau in more regular blocks, with roads following the ridgelines and the edges of the ravines.
A Nālūt map poster is shaped by the terrain more than by planning. Streets end at cliff edges, roads switch back down the slope, and the historic centre forms a tight knot above the drop. In black and white, the relationship between town and escarpment reads with great clarity.
The town sits where the Nafusa plateau breaks into steep slopes and ravines, and the poster shows streets stopping abruptly where the ground falls away.
The old fortified granary and the compact village around it form the densest part of the map, a small, tightly built cluster on the high ground.
Newer neighbourhoods spread across the flat top of the plateau in broader, more regular blocks, contrasting with the knotted old town at the edge.

Koteā ko Nālūt
Nālūt is a place with a strong identity among the Amazigh communities of the Nafusa Mountains, and its map carries that sense of belonging. It suits anyone with family roots here or an interest in the architecture of the Libyan uplands.
Change the title and subtitle, perhaps writing the name in another script, and adjust the coordinates. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand as the finish.
