Te mapa
Nankana Sahib lies west of Lahore in Pakistan's Punjab, on level farmland crossed by roads and irrigation channels. The town is best known as the birthplace of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, and its name reflects that history. From above, the older centre is a close weave of lanes surrounded by newer, more regular neighbourhoods.
Several gurdwaras stand in and around the town, the most important being Gurdwara Janam Asthan, built on the site where Guru Nanak is believed to have been born. Every year Sikh pilgrims travel here from India and around the world, especially for the celebrations of his birth anniversary.
A Nankana Sahib map poster is often chosen as a devotional or family keepsake. It shows the compact core, the gurdwara compounds with their courtyards, and the roads fanning out across the fields, rendered in clean lines that keep attention on the place itself.
Walled courtyards and open spaces around the town's gurdwaras stand out among the denser lanes, marking the sites that draw pilgrims to Nankana Sahib.
Narrow, irregular streets form the historic heart of the town, giving the centre of the map a finer, more tangled texture than the areas around it.
Flat farmland surrounds the town on every side, crossed by straight roads and irrigation channels that frame the built-up area in an open, quiet field.

Koteā ko Nankana Sahib
For many Sikh families this is a place of deep personal meaning, and a map of it is a way to keep a pilgrimage or an ancestral connection close at home. The simple lines suit a calm, respectful setting.
