Te mapa
Narutō lies inland on the broad, flat plain that runs back from Chiba's Kujukuri coast. Since 2006 it has been part of the city of Sanmu. From above it looks agricultural: a modest built-up centre, with farm roads running out in straight lines between rectangular rice fields and patches of woodland.
The contrast between the settled area and the paddies is what makes the map interesting. Houses and shops gather along a few older roads that curve slightly, while the field lanes around them follow a stricter, surveyed grid. A Narutō map poster sets these two patterns side by side, the organic village and the regular farmland, in fine black line.
The area is within reach of Narita and the Pacific shore, but it keeps a rural pace. On paper that shows up as space: wide blocks with only a few lines in them, dense clusters where people live, and long straight roads that carry you across the plain.
Straight farm lanes divide the plain into regular rectangles, a quiet geometric pattern that covers much of the surrounding map.
The older settled core follows softer, slightly curving roads, standing out clearly against the ruled lines of the fields around it.
Small stands of trees and shrine groves break up the farmland, adding irregular shapes among the straight-edged fields.

Koteā ko Narutō
The map works as a keepsake for families from the old town of Narutō, or for anyone who knows the countryside of northern Kujukuri. Its mix of calm fields and a small village centre suits a minimalist interior.
You can use the old name or the current one in the title, add a subtitle and coordinates, and choose from five styles, including Paper and Sand. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
