Te mapa
Năvodari sits on the Romanian Black Sea coast just north of Constanța, on the narrow ground between the open sea and the inland water of Lake Tașaul. From above, the town has two edges of water: a long, soft line of sand to the east and the lake's irregular shore to the west. The streets fill the space between them in a compact pattern.
The name comes from năvod, the Romanian word for a seine net, which points to the town's fishing past. Today the coast around it is known for summer beaches and holiday camps. The large Petromidia refinery sits nearby, and on a map its grid of plant roads and storage areas looks very different from the looser pattern of the residential streets.
A Năvodari map poster shows that contrast in plain black lines on white: the smooth curve of the coast, the lake's rough outline, and the town between them. Without colour or labels, the map comes down to land and water, and you can see why a fishing settlement grew up at this spot.
A long, gently curving beach edge runs along the east of the map. It is the cleanest line on the poster and gives the whole composition a strong horizon.
West of the town the lake spreads out with an uneven, lobed outline. It creates a second body of water that frames the streets from the other side.
The industrial area near the coast has straight service roads and rectangular blocks, a mechanical pattern that stands out next to the residential neighbourhoods.

Koteā ko Năvodari
For people who have spent summers on this stretch of coast, or who grew up between the lake and the sea, the map brings back the place without needing a photograph. The water on both sides is what most people remember, and it is what the poster shows first.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example the year of a family holiday or a street you lived on. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
