Te mapa
Nisko sits on the San River in the north of Subcarpathia, and from above the river sets the terms. Its channel and the flat, open floodplain beside it run along one side of the town, while the built-up streets gather on firmer ground. Beyond them the pattern thins into scattered houses, field strips and the large blocks of woodland that cover much of this corner of Poland.
The town lies next to Stalowa Wola, and on a wider map the two read almost as a pair along the same river, joined by roads and a railway line. Nisko's own centre is modest in scale: a compact core, a handful of main roads leaving it in different directions, and quieter residential streets filling the spaces in between, some of them ending right at the trees.
The name also appears in history books. In 1939 it was attached to the so-called Nisko Plan, an early Nazi scheme to deport Jews from Central Europe to the area. A Nisko map poster keeps to the present-day town and shows it as it is lived in now: a river, a forest edge and a street plan drawn in fine lines on a quiet page.
The San runs past the town with a wide band of meadows beside it, a pale open strip on the print that contrasts with the denser lines of the streets.
Large stretches of woodland reach close to the town, so the street network ends abruptly in open space rather than fading gradually into suburbs and fields.
Stalowa Wola lies just along the river, and a wider frame captures both towns, the roads and rail line linking them, and the San running between.

Koteā ko Nisko
People who grew up in Nisko, or who left it for work elsewhere, often want something that recognises the town without turning it into a postcard. A plain street plan with the San beside it does that quietly, and it fits a hallway or study as easily as a living room.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, so the poster can carry a family name, a year or a short phrase. Choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, then download the HD files for $9 or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
