Te mapa
Parādīp lies on the Odisha coast near the mouth of the Mahanadi, where the river's delta spreads into creeks, channels and low, flat land before reaching the Bay of Bengal. The town was developed around a major port that opened in the 1960s, and the harbour remains the defining feature of the map.
From above, straight roads and a planned township run inland from the coast, while the port area shows long quays, basins and storage yards cut into the shoreline. A large oil refinery and industrial zones add broad, open parcels nearby. Beyond them, creeks and the mangrove-lined edges of the delta break up the land into irregular shapes.
A Parādīp Garh map poster shows the meeting of engineered geometry and natural delta. The rectangular basins and straight quays sit against the soft, meandering lines of creeks and coast, making this an unusual and graphic subject for a black and white print.
Docks and harbour basins cut into the coastline in clean, rectangular shapes, the engineered core of a port that handles large volumes of cargo on India's east coast.
Creeks and channels of the delta wind across flat land near the town, giving the map irregular waterways and low-lying edges.
The coastline runs as a long, smooth line along the sea, marking the eastern boundary of the town and its port.
