Te mapa
Pinner is a suburb in the London Borough of Harrow, and from above it shows two eras clearly. At the centre is a short, sloping high street that follows the line of the old village, with its parish church at the top. Around it, tree-lined avenues and crescents of twentieth-century houses spread out in the soft curves typical of Metroland.
The River Pinn, a small tributary of the Colne, runs through the area in a thin, winding line along a green corridor. The Metropolitan line cuts across on a straight embankment, and the station sits close to the old centre. Parks, playing fields and golf courses break up the suburbs and give the map plenty of open space.
Pinner has held a street fair since a royal charter of 1336, and it is still held every year. The town is also where Elton John grew up, and it is home to the Heath Robinson Museum. A Pinner map poster brings together the village core, the river and the curving suburban roads.
The historic High Street rises gently to the parish church. It is a short, dense strip that keeps the outline of the original village.
The narrow River Pinn winds through a green strip of parkland and footpaths, adding a soft line to the suburban map.
Around the centre, curving avenues, closes and crescents built after the railway arrived make a gentle, flowing street pattern.

Koteā ko Pinner
Pinner is the kind of place people settle in and stay for decades, so its map often marks a family home, a first house or a childhood. The village core and curving streets make a quietly detailed poster.
Add a title such as a street name, the year you moved in and your own coordinates, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital download costs $9, and printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
