Te mapa
Qingdao sits on the southern tip of a peninsula that nearly closes off Jiaozhou Bay, so on a map the city is framed by water on three sides. The western shore faces the sheltered bay and its container ports, while the southern edge meets the open Yellow Sea in a run of small coves, headlands and sandy beaches that locals still refer to by number.
The oldest quarter, near Zhanqiao Pier, keeps the irregular street pattern laid out during the German concession between 1898 and 1914. Lanes climb and bend around low hills rather than following a grid, and the red-roofed villas of Badaguan sit among tree-lined streets named after historic mountain passes. The Tsingtao Brewery, founded in 1903, stands a short distance inland from the old waterfront.
Further east, the city stretches toward the granite massif of Laoshan, and the dense modern blocks along Fushan Bay mark the area that hosted the sailing events of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. A Qingdao map poster captures this balance of peninsula, bay and mountain, with the long Jiaozhou Bay Bridge drawing a thin line across the water to the northwest.

A slender pier reaching straight out from the old town into Qingdao Bay, first built in the 1890s and now a sharp, simple stroke on the southern waterfront.
A cluster of curving, tree-lined streets near the southern beaches, each named after a historic mountain pass, where the street pattern loosens into gardens and low houses.

Koteā ko Qingdao
Qingdao appeals to anyone who knows it through its sea air, its beer or a summer by the beaches. The map reads clearly even at small sizes, because the coastline does most of the work: a hooked peninsula, a nearly enclosed bay and a mountain edge to the east.
You can add a title, a subtitle such as a date or a family name, and a coordinates line, then choose from five styles. Blueprint suits the maritime outline well, while Classic black & white keeps the old town lanes crisp. HD files cost $9, and printed posters ship from partners in 30+ countries.
