Te mapa
Rockwall sits on the eastern shore of Lake Ray Hubbard, the reservoir that separates it from Dallas. From above, the lake is the defining feature. Its shoreline is ragged with coves and inlets, and neighbourhood streets curve along it, many ending in cul-de-sacs by the water. Interstate 30 crosses the lake on a long causeway and bridge, joining Rockwall directly to the metroplex.
The town's name comes from an underground formation of rock, found in the 1850s, that looked like a buried man-made wall. People still debate whether it is natural. Rockwall County is the smallest county in Texas by area, and the city is its seat. Its historic square sits a little way inland from the lake.
A Rockwall map poster shows the typical pattern of fast-growing North Texas suburbs: winding residential loops, broad arterial roads, shopping centres near the interstate, and a harbour development on the shore. What gives it character is the lake, a large pale shape along the western edge of the print.

The interstate crosses the lake on a straight causeway and bridge. It is a bold line connecting Rockwall to Dallas across open water.
The old courthouse square sits inland from the lake. Its compact grid is a small area of order inside the curving suburban layout.

Koteā ko Rockwall
Families who moved to Rockwall for the lake and the schools, and those who have lived in the county much longer, often want a map of the place they chose. This one shows the shoreline, the square and the streets around home.
You can personalise it with your surname, your street or the year you moved in, and pick one of five styles. All six print sizes are included in the $9 download as 300 DPI PNG and PDF files, with no watermark.
