Te mapa
Rosa Khutor lies in the mountains above Krasnaya Polyana, near Sochi, on the upper Mzymta river. On a map the resort village follows the river closely, with buildings along both banks and bridges joining them. Above it, the mountain rises steeply, and gondolas climb from the valley floor to the ski terrain on the high ridges.
The resort hosted the alpine skiing events of the 2014 Winter Olympics, and much of it was built for the Games. The village has a planned layout, with a riverside promenade and a compact centre set between steep, forested slopes. The ski runs above cover a large area and reach high, open terrain along the Rosa Peak ridge.
A Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort map poster shows a clear contrast between the dense riverside village and the wide open ski terrain above it. The river runs through the centre, and the lift lines climb into the empty spaces of the mountain. It is a structured, readable map, and it suits anyone who remembers the Olympic runs or the walk along the river at night.
The mountain river runs through the heart of the resort, with buildings on both banks and bridges between them. It is the main axis of the map and gives the village its linear shape.
The ski terrain above the village hosted the 2014 Olympic alpine events. On the map it spreads across the upper slopes as open, pale ground, well above the valley.
Gondolas and lifts climb steeply from the valley to the ridges. They form straight lines crossing the mountain's curves, linking the village to the high ski terrain.

Koteā ko Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort
This poster is for those who skied the Olympic runs or spent a winter week by the river. The map shows both the compact village and the scale of the mountain above, and they make a strong pair on a wall.
Personalise the title and subtitle, for example in Cyrillic or with the year of your trip, and keep the coordinates. Blueprint suits the planned layout, and Noir makes the slopes bold. Classic black & white, Paper and Sand are the other styles.
