Sadasivpet is in Sangareddy district in Telangana, west of Hyderabad on the Deccan plateau. From above, the town's clearest feature is the main highway through it. This long, straight line carries traffic between Hyderabad and the west, and most of the town lies on either side of it.
The older part of Sadasivpet forms a dense cluster of lanes near the road. Newer residential layouts spread out in neater rectangular blocks. Because Hyderabad is within commuting range and industry is expanding in the district, the edges of town keep moving outward into what were fields not long ago.
