Te mapa
Saiyad-ul-ajaib is one of South Delhi's urban villages. It is an older settlement that the growing city surrounded, and it now sits close to Saket and Mehrauli. On the map the difference is easy to see. The village is a close cluster of narrow, irregular lanes, while the surrounding colonies are laid out in wider, more orderly blocks.
The area around it is one of the more layered parts of Delhi. Mehrauli, with the Qutub Minar complex, is a short distance away. Large arterial roads carry traffic past the malls and offices of Saket. Across one sheet, a village street pattern, planned residential sectors and major city roads all meet.
A Saiyad-ul-ajaib map poster captures that mix in black and white. The fine, dense lanes read almost like a texture, set against the cleaner lines of the planned neighbourhoods and the heavier strokes of the main roads. It is a very specific corner of a huge city, and people who know it will recognise it immediately.
The core is made of short, tightly packed lanes with no regular grid. On the map it is the darkest and most detailed patch.
The surrounding residential areas have wider streets and more regular blocks. The contrast with the older village is clear from above.
The historic district of Mehrauli, home to the Qutub Minar, lies close by. It places this small neighbourhood among some of Delhi's oldest ground.

Koteā ko Saiyad-ul-ajaib
Delhi is too large for one poster to feel personal. A map of Saiyad-ul-ajaib zooms in on the lanes where someone actually lived, rented a first flat or started a business. It is the city as the people who live there actually experience it.
